RalliQuilt ( )is a traditional Indian fabric, is used in the side crown part of this hat. this is made by piecing together old saris, dupattas, loin cloths, and haggis, using a running thread (sashiko). This is a traditional craft that has been handed down for a long time in Central Asia, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. No two pieces are alike in the way they are pieced, in the pattern and thickness of the fabric, or even in the way each stitch is sewn. The pattern is so brave that it looks like a lightning bolt. The top hat crown and brim are made of Indian cotton and the ribbon is made of Oshima tsumugi (). Oshima tsumugi is a traditional Japanese craft that has a history of about 1,300 years and is one of the top three textiles in the world. Amami Oshima (Kagoshima Prefecture) is the main source (birthplace) of this silk textile. Known as the “Queen of Kimono”, it represents the national costume of Japan and has become a status symbol for its wearer. It has an elegant luster, is soft and light, and does not wrinkle easily. The hat is a wonderful accent and balance to both casual and sophisticated ethnic wear.
