Description
The shape of this wool hat is like a combination of a silk hat and a PorkPie Hat, divided by two. I left the edge of the brim in a rough and messy cut, but shaped it by hand with subtle differences. The left side of the crown is decorated with a patterned part of mud-dyed cotton from the Republic of Mali. The band is made of seven different fabrics, including hand-woven linen from the Hmong people of China and Burmese cotton, with bird buttons as accents. For those looking for a “casual silk hat” to enjoy a unique fashion, take the challenge.
